Personal Insights The original Hindi story of Andhagan has translated quite well to Tamil aesthetics including the expected core storyline but with cultural flavors. Praising the audience’s balance between ASD and excitement, it is clear that Prashanth’s performance of the protagonist has not disappointed either. Cultural Significance Andhagan here, also reinforces the idea of inter-industry remakes in Indian cinema as it remakes a well-received Hindi film as it is fair to say a good story can transcend language and culture.
